Trying something new.

Trying something new.

I'm SICK of my hair.

I love it but uhhhh I need a change. I've been wearing it in a bun for I don't know how long now until I decide what I want to do with it.

I'm tired of curls. I don't really want it straight so I decided to try a relaxed girls version of a "braid out"

I did my normal shampoo and deep condition applied oil to my hair and then put it in these plaits.

Put my flexi rods in and CHILLED HARD lol.

I ended up having to sit under the dryer so they would dry because we decided to go out at the last minute and my hair was WET lol. Took them out and the ends were curled.  I knew if I just left them straight, my ends would look a mess since I'm not natural. Kayla's just curl up all pretty. Mine, not so much.

This is how it looked when I took it down.

This is how it looked when I left home. Its different for me, but I like it.

When I got back home, I sprayed a little leave in conditioner in it just to damp it a little bit and did the plaits again and put my flexi rods in it and went to sleep.

When I took it down the next day this was my look:

Love, love LOVE my hair lol. I will be doing this for a while. It's easy, no heat involved for real so I'm good.

I'm ALL about the easy. Easy will keep me from cutting my hair off lol.

I DO have relaxed hair but I haven't had a perm since uhhhhhh March? April? I can't remember lol.

Very cute! If you find you need more hold, try Kinky Curly for setting. You can get it at Target.

Super cute! You have some lovely hair! I’ve been bored with mine so I know what you mean. I’ve been having a little fun with steam rollers to give myself a change. You picked a great option for yourself:)

I’m in love with braids outs…there’s nothing free flowing, relaxing and natural about it….I don’t like how dry my hair feels but i love EVERYTHING else about it!!!

It is so pretty! Keep it well moisturized and it will do fine.

I was just about to email you and ask if your hair was natural 🙂 I’ve been natural for about 2 years and I’m so sick of my bun. I love your “braid out”

Your hair looks great! I am such a wimp…I keep trying to go natural but then I punk out and put a perm in it.

Hi! I am really liking this!! Please share what products you use. My hair feels chronically dry (it’s texturized) and I feel like I have a million products that don’t work. I’m especially interested in how you deep moisturize your hair and what leave in conditioner you use.
Thanks! Looks really good on you!!

Very cute, that’s my “I’m going to sweat hairdo” but it looks great on you and would probably look great on me if I didn’t sweat it out lol.

    It looks beautiful on you.
I’m sure you can get away with any style. Beautiful women can.
