Pink Dress & Leopard Heels

Hey guys! I really don’t think it’s a secret that I LOVE asymmetrical anything so this dress was a MUST for me. You can’t go wrong with a pink dress & leopard heels 🙂I’ve made this style dress before, but the first time it was self-drafted. I was inspired by this Oscar de la Renta Dress. You can see my first version here: http://www.adriennemnixon.com/oscar-de-la-renta-inspired-dress/.This dress is just so feminine to me. It’s flowy and pink and in my mind just perfect. Fall in Alabama is SO unpredictable and as you all know I don’t like wearing sleeveless dresses/tops to church so I paired this dress with an ivory blazer.

I wore all pearl accessories and sparkly stud earrings. My belt is also pearls. It’s four strands of pearls with a sparkly clasp. The wind loves to blow when I take pictures lol. Thankfully my hair is staying in place lol.

Pattern Description: Lined dress has close-fitting, underlined bodice, flared skirt cut on crosswise grain, and invisible back zipper. A, B: Sleeveless. B, C: Shaped hemline. C: Long two-piece sleeves and sheer overlay. Note: Separate pattern pieces are included for A, B, C, D cup sizes.

Pattern Sizing: 6-14

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? I looked over the instructions for the review and they are very well written.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I fell in love with the style.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I doubt if I make this one again but I HIGHLY recommend it if you like this style.

Conclusion: Great dress, it went together very well and I absolutely love it.
