McCall’s 6588…A Review

McCall’s 6588…A Review

6558m

McCall's 6558

Pattern Description: Pullover tops and dresses have elasticized neck/raised (seamed) waist, and narrow hem. A and B: sleeveless. B: applied hem ruffle. A and C: purchased trim. C and D: front and back extend into sleeve (wrong side may show). D: side slits and purchased trim for shoulder strap.

Pattern Sizing: 8-16

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Didn't even need them.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved that it was EASY lol.

Fabric Used: Cotton Jersey

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made it a midi- dress instead of a maxi dress. I ran out of fabric lol.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I might make this one again before the weather changes. I can still wear it with a cardigan.

Conclusion: SUPER DUPER easy pattern. I think it took me longer to cut it out than it did to sew it. INSTANT gratification.

That outfit looks great on you and love how you topped it off with the cropped denim jacket.
