McCall’s 6558…A Review

McCall’s 6558…A Review

6558m
McCall's 6558

Pattern Description: Pullover tops and dresses have elasticized neck/raised (seamed) waist, and narrow hem. A and B: sleeveless. B: applied hem ruffle. A and C: purchased trim. C and D: front and back extend into sleeve (wrong side may show). D: side slits and purchased trim for shoulder strap.
I made view B without the bottom ruffle.
Pattern Sizing:8-16

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? They looked easy. I just glanced over them.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved everything about this pattern.

Fabric Used: Jersey Knit

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I do plan on making this again but a differerent view.

Conclusion: This pattern was super easy to make. The knit I used I've had in my stash forever but it was perfect. It is SO soft. I love that I can dress this up or down. It's a great dress.

It’s a lovely dress and the phase angelic godess comes to mine. It has a 70s vintage feel in a fabulous way.

Very nice dress! Did you also make the belt?

I would never have considered this pattern until I saw it on YOU. The circular “collar” that would cover up my too hefty upper arms is pretty wonderful.
TY for sharing. Your reviews are to the point and positive
