Houndstooth & Red. A Classic Combo |New Look 6723

Last week I attended an event at The University of Alabama.  What better place to wear houndstooth and red?

I love this dress. I made it in February to wear to Atlanta for the Mimi G Style Meet & Greet and I realized I hadn’t worn it again so I pulled it back out.

I kept my accessories simple. I wore a simple sparkly necklace and my favorite large diamond-like studs. I forgot to put on bracelets. OOPS. I carried a red bag that I had already put in my truck because I was running late lol.

For those of you who sew, here is a review:

Pattern Description: Misses Day or Evening Dress

Pattern Sizing: 8-18 I made the size 12

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? I’ve made this dress before so may times so I no longer have to use them. They ARE very well drafted and easy to understand and follow.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is my favorite pattern for a fit and flare dress. I absolutely LOVE it. It’s my true TNT

Fabric Used: Ponte Knit

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will make this one again and again and again. I love it. I HIGHLY recommend this pattern if you like this style dress.

Conclusion:Great pattern. Go pick it up if you like this style.
