Denim Dress with Bell Sleeves

Denim Dress with Bell Sleeves

Hey guys! I have SO much to show you guys. My life is moving a million miles a minute. It is hard sometimes to sit down and blog (even when I DO have the time lol).

Let’s start off with this Denim Dress with Bell Sleeves. I love denim. I love dresses. I am HERE for a dramatic sleeve this season.

Denim Dress with Bell Sleeves

I love this dress. Like seriously. I actually made one similar back in 2015. You can see that dress HERE.

If you can’t already tell, I have jumped ALL over the dramatic sleeve trend. There is more to come. Trust me on that.

I decided to wear this colorful shoe that I have had a little bit longer than forever with this dress. I kept my accessories fairly simple and just rolled with it. That is one thing I LOVE about denim. It really is the most perfect neutral.  You an wear anything with it.

Shout out to Kayla for capturing such great pictures. She is REALLY doing well with the photography. Y’all help me encourage her. I’m going to push her and make sure she is learning daily. She has a gift.

For those of you who sew, here is a review:

Pattern Description: Vogue 9239  Fitted bodice dresses have front and back princess seams, full or slim skirt and sleeve variations.

Pattern Sizing: 6-14

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn’t read the instructions but I did look over them for this review and they are well written.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the SLEEVES.

Fabric Used: Stretch lightweight denim.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I ‘ve made two views of this dress. I MIGHT make view D again. I LOVE that silhouette on me.

Conclusion: This is a great pattern and the dramatic sleeve is right on trend.
