Hey guys! This weekend was WAY  busy but so much fun. There was a time when I did NOT like Birmingham. I always thought there was nothing to do. There is PLENTY to do in Birmingham, you just have to know where to look. I am loving my city more and more everyday and I mean that literally.

Friday I went to my very first Y’all Connect Blogging & Social Media Conference

Those of you who have been reading for some time know that I started blogging WAY back in 2005 and my very first blog was on blogger lol. I’ve been blogging a long time but things have changed so much so I want to continue to learn.

This conference was pretty awesome.

The keynote speaker was THE ONE AND ONLY Stacey Ferguson co-founder of Be Blogalicious She was pretty much amazing and I want to be like her when I grow up. How she manages to do all that she does is BEYOND me. She’s amazing but I said that already lol. I HAD to get a picture with her:

This next guy was THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!! He could have gone on and on and on and ON and I don’t think ANYONE would have cared.

SHAUN KING is the TRUTH. His cause, what he stands for and how he handles social media. This guy knows his stuff. I learned so much from him. If you EVER hear of him coming anywhere near you just go. Don’t think about at all. JUST GO.

 

Overall it was a great conference. Unlimited Starbucks all day was awesome, until I tried to go sleep Friday night lol.

Saturday was equally amazing!

 

Javacia Harris Bowser did an AMAZING job. I am ALWAYS open to learning and I came home ready to rock it out!

What I love about Javacia is that she was open, honest and super sweet. I can’t wait until her mini-conference in August!

On Sunday Erica B. hosted a Style Event and did an awesome job and gave some great tips. I now want a pair of red pants.

 

La’Shara and I are starting to see each other at every event lol

Great weekend and this coming weekend will be just a fun!
