Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s normally this time of year that everyone is reflecting.

I’m no different. I have emotional/thankful moments a lot but even more so around this time.

I have SO much to be thankful for. I’ll start with our health. Back in 2007 I had some serious health concerns. Those of you who have been reading since then know all about them. I had a test come back wonky and had to have other things done. Im waiting on those results now and I’m THANKFUL that all will be well. I trust God no matter what and this time is no different.

This time last year Kayla was having some health issues and we didn’t know what was wrong. After going from doctor to doctor taking test after test we finally knew. She had a mass that was pressing against her optic nerve and her brain. She had surgery two days after Christmas and has had a perfect bill of health ever since. God is so good and so faithful.

I’m so thankful for my husband.

Tony has always had my back. I don’t care what it is, even when I’m wrong (but he will get me straight lol). We talk things through and he helps me improve. He helps me to be a better me. Im so glad he isn’t a “yes man”. I would be pure hot mess, selfish and self centered if he was. No lie lol.

I cry on his shoulder, talk to him about everything from hair to fabric and nail polish and he is always so supportive of everything that I do. I’m so happy and blessed to have him as my husband.

thankful

My children. I’m shocked by what I learn listening to them. They are so smart and crazy lol. There are days when I want to karate chop them but I love them with every piece of my being. I’m so happy God decided to let ME be their mom.

I’m thankful that I’ve learned to always smile. No matter how bad I hurt, it could always be worse. You never know who your smile will bless.

I hope you can find something to be thankful for.  Just stop and take a quick look around and I’m sure it won’t be hard 🙂
