Alex and Ani

Alex and Ani

Alex and Ani

While I was in New York earlier this year a friend and I went into a jewelry shop. I can’t remember why we went in but I’m glad we did. It  was my introduction to Alex and Ani.

I walked out of that jewelry shop with my most favorite bracelet at the time lol

Alex and Ani

I AM COMPLETELY BLESSED

This bracelet started to mean a LOT to me. It was a constant reminder that I’m truly blessed.  I am not always a “strong” woman. I have insecurities, faults and flaws. This bracelet always put a smile on my face.

I decided that I would purchase one when I had a really special moment in my life.

When I made the color guard uniforms for Alabama A&M University it was so special to me. SOOOOO special. It was a turning point for my business and I can’t wait to share all that is happening because of that. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity.

Every single time I look at this bracelet or wear it I’m reminded that what God has for me it is for me. NO ONE has power over my success. God has it ALL in his hands and no matter the situation, I (now) always speak positive. The Bible says that there is life and death in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) and I have found that to be SO TRUE.

I also got one for my birthday 🙂

I went through a funk last month where most of my days started and ended with tears. The tears stopped and I asked God to show me my heart. I needed to change what was in ME. What I love about God is that He doesn’t take long to work. He just wants us to talk to Him. I should know that but sometimes when you aren’t in a “good place” it’s hard to see. I’m glad those tears cleansed me and my “eyes” so I could see.

I had to remember that the Joy of the Lord is my strength. SERIOUSLY. I love this bracelet because it reminds me to always be positive. I’ve ALWAYS tried to be positive and keep a positive outlook. That can be HARD sometimes when you are broken. But I’ve learned and I’m learning that broken isn’t bad. It’s a humbling experience and God will defiantly put you back together again.

Do you have any Alex and Ani bracelets? Do you love them? I know I do!

Love your posts. You are always inspiring. One of my 2015 goals is simply to take chances. I always have ideas that I want to try, but fear of failure always gets me. So for 2015 “if i fail, if i succeed, at least I’ll live as I believe”! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
