Thunder of Heaven

This book was SO good. I didn't realize it was the 2nd in a series until after the fact but I went and read some of the reviews and they said you could read either one of them alone. I'm SO glad I read it.

Y'all know I normally read a book every few weeks, but this year hasn't been like that. I was SO happy to get a book that captured me from the very beginning! This one was EXCELLENT!

I've never read any of LaHaye's other books but this might make me see what else he has out there. I do have the 1st part of the series in my purse. I need to remember it's in there so I can start on it lol.

I haven’t read these, but I have read the Left Behind series, which I thought were okay, but my mom loved. The author is anti-Catholic and some of that comes through in his writing, which probably won’t bother you at all since you aren’t Catholic. There are 13 of them and I would think most libraries would carry them.

I have the whe Left behind series. You can probably get all of them from the library by now but I wouldn’t mine lending you one if you can’t find it.

I agree with the other commenters that if you liked this book (and read the first one too!) you will love the Left Behind series…but those work best if you start with the first one and read to the end.

I enjoyed the Left Behind series when I read them several years ago so maybe I’ll try this one. I’m reading Redeeming Love right now since you gave such a favorable review:-)
