*tap tap* is this thing on? lol

Tony is home and doing pretty well. We are both getting adjusted to this “new” lifestyle.

We take a class on Wednesday morning and I’m really looking forward to it.  We have both been educating ourselves, knowledge truly is power.

I really want to thank you all for everything.  It’s amazing to me how many of y’all really care. It’s like we are all apart of this little “family”. Blogging has brought some beautiful people into my life and I’m truly thankful for it.

We are trying to get back into somewhat of a normal routine lol.

Hot water tank burst today and my car ran hot lol. Whewwwwwwww instead of crying I just laughed lol.

I was surrounded by the love of my family….all the grandkids were at my house lol

Grandkids

Fun times indeed lol. I was glad when everyone went home. Gotta love PEACE! LOL

I have been crafty! LOL well just a little. Needed something to do with my hands. I still need to remove the threads but it’s almost done. I’ll show a completed pic and a link to the tutorial I found while blog hopping next post.

Tshirt It’s a little jazzy tshirt lol. I really like it and my girls are begging for one too lol

Ok, that’s it for me. Gonna be a super busy week.

Thanks again guys for EVERYTHING. Its truly appreciated!

Toodles!

I am glad to hear things are coming along. Adjustment is not always easy, but everything will fall into place. I think doing something with your hands and being crafty is a great stress reliever.

Thank God prayer works. Your hubby is home and feeling better and you have another day with him and your family. Oh well about the water heater and the car but hubby is home.I understand what you mean about bloggers being a litte family in itself and it is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people in passing and those who share your passion or new friends for life, like Carolyn of Diaryofasewingfanatic.com and her NYC rendezvous. Well again Thank God hubby is home and I wish you guys well.

So glad to hear that your husband has been properly diagnosed and receiving treatments. Prayers for you and your family will continue. Take care of yourself, too, now.

So glad he’s doing good. I’m so glad you are taking the classes they really help. I was practically starving Mike I was so worried about it. They explain clearly what a portion is and since Mike is tall and large man they said he needed 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 portions which made him very happy. He missed bread and sweets but he’s found sugarfree sweets that help when he wants something sweet. I know it seems like you life will be different but it really isn’t hard to find things for them to eat when you eat out just pick the healthy choices that all of us should pick anyway. The hardest part for you is you still have a bunch of young kids who want snacks that Tony can’t have. At least we only had a daughter left at home that was college age and I just made her keep her snacks in her room so Mike didn’t have to look at them. We always buy snacks for him in small packages so he can portion control. Take care,
    Beth

(repeat) I’m too happy that Tony is home and on the road to recovery.
And thank you again for the blog link. Now I hate I purchased a pattern for T-shirts to complete this project. As you know most of my inspirational items are from the Garnett Hill catalog..especially the jewelry, but they are hella expensive.
Think now I’m gonna go and florish all my long and short sleeve tee’s. lol

You know sometimes we do have to laugh to keep from crying. God has a sense of humor and he has a way of making us stop and pay attention to him. He will never knock you lower than your knees. (HUGS)
