Let me tell y'all.

Y'all have known me LONG enough. When I say I'm OBSESSING over something. It's LITERALLY all I can think about and it takes over lol.

For a VERY long time I wanted to make every single item that I wore. When I FINALLY got over "sewing everything" I was in a good place lol.

I normally don't shop too much, well unless it's shoes of course, because it's just NOT fun going into the mall.

Walking the streets of NY (Especially SOHO) inspired me to really take a look at my "style". I love classics and I love the trendy items and since I sew I can truly have the best of both.

I'll be 36 in a few months and I don't want to dress like I'm 50 nor do I want to dress like I'm 21. I want to be a stylish almost 36 year old lol.

Ok, since I'm starting to ramble now let me just get to the point lol. Y'all get my point though, I'm going through a change but it's a good change and I'm happy about it lol

I saw SO many women wearing these pants. I avoided them (just like I did skinny jeans) until I tried some on a few days ago and INSTANTLY fell in love!!

I didn't think I liked them because I ASSUMED they wouldn't look good on me. When I got back home I was determined to try some on "just to see".

This also taught me to ALWAYS try on anything I think I may like but I'm afraid it won't look good on me.

NO money/time is wasted by trying items on and seeing how they look on you. I'd rather do that than blindly buy something online or waste time sewing it and I don't like it.

I picked up fabric in NY to make some so I'm super excited to get started on those.

I typically make dresses/skirts and the occassional pair of pants but look out because I'm READY lol. My patterns are already picked out lol.

Now this may not be what's "trending/hot for fall" but it's what I love and I wear what I love lol.

I'm LOVING bright color blazers. NOTHING is better in the fall/winter than a pop of color.

I'm going to have to do a haul video. I've purchased maybe *whispers* 8 or so blazers in the past week lol

I've always liked jeans but lately I'm in LOVE with jeans.

My favorite right now are the Sweetheart Jeans from Old Navy

Im LOVING the boot cut. I believe I have them in almost every color they offer lol.

I have yet to get into the boyfriend jean but I'll be out this week and I'll try some on. Another style that looks cute on others but I'm not sure how it will look on me.

I'm a FIRM believer in "everything ain't made for everybody" lol.

Again I may be late to the party but I'm super obsessed. I actually have that #5 jacket in ivory lol. I have a couple leather like jackets and a denim jacket in this style. I seriously need to do a haul video lol. 

I've had a few great mail weeks lol.

Now this last one I think is Jaelyn's fault. I've ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS loved cute tshirts. I have so many from my favorite Smurfs tshirt (that I really need to replace because I've worn almost ALL the color off of it) to my very close 2nd favorite minion shirt lol

We had a grand opening of our Forever 21 store (moved to a bigger spot in the mall) and my girls had me out that WAY early a couple Saturday Mornings ago ( I need to do a phone dump lol) Now it was PACKED but we had a great time.

Jaelyn kept showing me all these super cute Tee's. Our conversation kinda went like this:

Now I know a LOT of women who won't wear F21 clothing…I'm not one of them. If it's not your thing cool. If it is, cool.

Moving on.

A lot of my clients have been asking that I do an OOTD (outfit of the day) post so I'll probably start that over here as well. By the time this posts it will have already started. I actually started taking pictures for this earlier this week. It won't be EVERYDAY because I honestly don't get dressed everyday unless I'm going somewhere.

I DO have days where I stay in my pj's lol.

Ok that's it. I'll have to do a whole different post on the shoes/accessories I've been obsessing/splurging on lately.

It's very,very sad lol.
