Help! International food ideas???
I have to make an international food dish for THIS SUNDAY! I totally forgot until my faithful google calendar reminded me of it lol.
Do y'all have ANY ideas? It has to be for a group, so easy would be WONDERFUL.
I'm looking for any suggestions, from belgium waffles (which I don't want to make) to well ANYTHING lol
Thanks guys!

My frenchness is going to recommend Tarte Tatin ! The recipe I use is very similar to the first one on this page http://www.strategium.co.uk/tatin.html (not so easy to find a good recipe in english…). Plus, it has a cute story attached to it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarte_Tatin) and it can be served traditionnally with “creme fraiche” and sometimes with vanilla ice-cream.

I’m a picky eater and I loved this. My Philippine co-worker made some pacit with chicken and brought me a small sample…it was great. It looked fairly easy to make.
I looked up a recipe for you…she sometimes puts shrimp or beef in eat.

You could go Moroccan. There is Moroccan chicken which very a good. You can use whole chickens or legs and thighs. It’s easy to cook and you can make it the day before because it always taste better the day before. You can get the recipe from Food Network. It’s really good with onions, cinnamon, raisins, honey, and tomatoes. Cook some couscous and chick peas. Here is a link to for some more recipies http://moroccanfood.about.com/.

I love Indonesian food. If you want to make a main dish, Chicken sate (Indonesian style) is wonderful and easy to make for a crowd. For a side, Nasi Goring is a great rice dish!

My love is Indian food. I could eat it day and night. My favorite dish is Lamb Vindaloo but it might be too spicy for guests and so might Lamb or Chicken Curry.
If I had to pick something to introduce people to Indian food I’d pick Chicken Saagwala

I thought I could put in HTML but I guess not:
The weight watchers recipe is really good and so are some of the others:

I’m an Indian food fan too. I’ve made this recipe and it was DELICIOUS! Pick up some naan to serve with it and some some rice. Amazing.

I use regular curry powder instead of garam masala though. I don’t like super spicy food. I know… I have no business loving Indian food! Ha ha
