On Thursday, the 8th of September, my home was robbed.  It happened in broad daylight.  My neighbors saw a strange car and two men, but didn't even think to call the police.  My daughter was the first to get home and saw what happened.  She called me in tears and I felt a fear that I have NEVER felt before.  I've been through a lot in my life but I've never felt as violated as I felt that day.  To think that someone would steal from me, take the things I work SO HARD for, it emotionally broke me.  I had NO idea that Adrienne, Val, and Tracy reached out to our Twitter and blog fam to offer assistance to my children and I.  When I found out, I literally broke down.  This time they were tears of joy though.  People can say what they want about the internet and friendships on the internet, but let me tell you..I have met some WONDERFUL people and am beyond blessed to have people who care about my children and I.  No words can ever express how much all of your generosity means to me.   I haven't stayed at my house since it happened because I'm afraid to be there since it's just my kids and I.  Due to your kindness, I found an apartment and was able to apply for it, give a holding fee and will be able to pay my move in security deposit if approved.  I otherwise would have had to borrow the money for all of this.  I would like to send each of you a personal thank you note as well, so if I don't have your address, would you please pass it on to Adrienne, Tracy, or Val.  Thank you again for everything you all have done for us.  You will never know how grateful I am and how much it means to me.
