New York Trip| Mimi G Style Pattern Signing
Sooooo I guess it’s about time to post about my trip to New York and the Mimi G Style Pattern Signing.
I went to NY TWICE in the same week lol. I flew back home from the first trip on September 1st and I flew BACK out on September 5th lol.
Talk about some sky miles (which are adding up nicely BTW) If you follow me on Instagram then you have seen some of these pictures but there are a TON you haven’t seen yet lol. Candice, Kelly & I met up at the Airport and OFF WE WENT lol
This fabric situation was SERIOUS. I may have to do a haul video because I came home with a TON of fabric.
LITERALLY lol
LISTEN. If you are EVER near a Pie Face….GO. That is ALL lol This place was amazing. We of course started the next day with breakfast and then hit the streets lol.
I loved this rack of bikes lol. Candice is reppin her hubby’s Socialcated shirt. He has an amazing podcast with great tips so be sure to check it out!
The dude on end was FABULOUS and I told him as much. He was rocking that silk shirt lol
You know you have arrived at the garment district when you see this! If you are a newbie to New York a GREAT resource is Shop The Garment District.
I’ve been like 5 times now but I often check to see if any new stores have popped up.
I was being silly but really not lol. This is actually the same fabric Mimi mailed me a few weeks back lol. I made a green sequin skirt out of the exact same fabric lol. Now I have pink lol.
We ran into Peach Carr from Season 8 of Project Runway. She was really sweet.
We went and got all dolled up to go to the pattern signing…
I can HAIL A TAXI LIKE A BOSS lol. I get them SO quick now lol
Kelly is looking FABULOUS
Candice is looking like the rockstar she is!
I decided it would be nice to pass out water to all the women waiting in line lol. It turned out to be super fun lol. You had to be there lol
There were SO many amazing women at this event! Everyone was soooo sweet. These pictures really don’t do it justice.
The atmosphere was just wonderful.
She was just super fabulous and I LOVED her pink hair. I REALLY want mine purple lol.
Not sure what was happening here but Randy is a mess lol.
We had dinner with the Simplicity team and that was so much fun! The food was awesome lol
Some kinda way we ended up at Penn Station at some crazy hour like 3am lol
So we ate and talked lol. GREAT conversation.
LISTEN. Out of ALL the food that entered my mouth, this was my favorite. If you have a Paris Baguette ANYWHERE near you…GO!
Don’t walk, run or drive really fast but don’t get a ticket and blame me lol
I saw these shoe pictures when I came to New York last year and didn’t get them, didn’t get them when I was with Tony the week before but they came home with me this time.
They are going to look superb in my new studio!!!
We ran into a street vendor/festival type thing and that was really cool.
This was an amazing trip with some seriously amazing women 🙂
