Here is my sewing year in review 2012.

Do you ever make something and then don't like it!? No, just me? Oh ok.

I think I loved the concept and the colors but the fabric choice was ALL wrong. Maybe it doens't happen to you but it indeed happened to me lol

This was too big when I made it. Even though I made adjustments it just doesn't fit the way I want. I MAY revisit this one in 2014, there are soooo many other dresses though so I might not lol. It also went away in the giveaway pile lol.

This one also went into the giveaway pile. I like the color more than anything. It's not as flattering on me as I convinced myself it was. Does that happen to y'all? LOL I was seeing myself one way but looked a WHOLE different way. Glad I have that under control now lol

When I was working on this post, I noticed how everything I didn't like happend BEFORE my trip to NY in August when my fashion eyes were opened lol. I'm excited about next year lol. I hope not to have ANYTHING that I don't like.

Sooo on to the stuff I really love. Now I technically love EVERYTHING I make, with the exception of the above items so these were just some of my favorite looks:

This double peplum was one of my favorite items. So easy to mix and match with other items in my wardrobe.

I still LOVE this dress and my haircut lol.

This is as much plaid matching as I can handle lol. I hate matching plaid.

I fell in love with the instant I put it on. I felt like new money lol. I got SO many compliments on it the first time I wore it.

Do I have any sewing goals for 2014? Nothing other than I want to continue to learn and make excellent garments that I'll love.

Oh, maybe one goal, not to sew ANYTHING that will go into the giveaway bag because I don't like it lol.
