Sequin Maternity Dress

Hey guys! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was super special. I want to show you guys a sequin maternity dress that I made for Zanete.

For those of you who DON’T know, Zanete is my sister in love who is married to my twin brother and the mother of my AWESOME nephew Aiden lol. Oh, she’s also my assistant lol. Keep it in the family lol.

That is my niece in her tummy. TeeTee is already in love **heart eye emoji**.

Zanete and I went back and forth on the style dress she wanted. We had it narrowed down and then BOOM there was a change of mind lol. I of course think it was me that suggested sequin. You all know I LOVE sparkly and what is more perfect than pink sequin for a baby shower when you are having a little princess?

She fell in love with the idea and we ordered fabric. Once it arrived it was like WHOA! OMG THIS IS GORGEOUS. Y’all I was SO scared to cut this fabric. We did her first fitting and it was perfect except for the length. It was initially too short so we had to add additional length. That was it. I STILL looked at the sequin for like an hour before I cut it. I thought she might grow and then the dress wouldn’t fit the day of the shower lol.

It was perfect. Zanete loved it and so did everyone at the shower. It’s self drafted, fully lined and has an elastic waist for comfort and growth lol
