Hey ya’ll!!

Today we are going to talk about a couple of things. Sequin & Denim and Adrienne 2.0.

Let me introduce y’all to Adrienne 2.0. I don’t know about y’all but I go through these phases normally the same time each year where I want a new look. Not a WHOLE new look, just an upgraded version of myself.

Welcome Adrienne 2.0

She’s not BRAND new, just upgraded. I decided on hair color and another cut and when I left the salon I was HAPPY.

I had SO much fun taking these pictures. Tony did an EXCELLENT job as always 🙂 I’ve trained him well lol

On to the outfit!

The wind will NEVER let me be great.

I’ve wanted a green high waist sequin pencil skirt for a while now. I finally got around to making one.

Because this skirt is SO sparkly I kept everything else very simple. I picked this denim shirt because it made the entire outfit casual.  By knotting the front of the shirt it gives me the illusion of a defined waistline and makes it EVEN more casual.

I kept my accessories and shoes VERY simple.

I purchased a black sequin skirt a couple of years ago and I used that to create this skirt. I LOVE the fit.

I purchased this fabric when I was in LA from Michael Levine . I underlined the skirt with a spandex and hand sewed the hem.

A quick tip for working with sequin, remove the sequin from the seams before you sew and it makes it a TON easier. It’s VERY time consuming but worth it.
