Can you believe it’s almost Christmas!? This year has gone by so fast it’s kind of amazing!

I was going through my fabric stash and ran across this gorgeous Pink Silk Dupoini. How fabulous is it as a pink pleated skirt!?

I love how this fabric holds shape. It’s one of my favorites to use for pleated skirts.

Since my skirt is soooooo bright and lovely, I paired it with a simple white button down shirt.

A girl has to sparkle right? This is one of my favorite statement necklaces and a couple of my favorite bold sparkly bracelets.

I just had to add this picture. I love it lol.

Simplicity 1464

Pattern Description: Misses’ skirt and shorts in two length and wide leg pants have a side zipper. The longer length skirt has a sheer or lace panel, while the shorter length has a trim border.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn’t follow the instructions but they are written very well. 

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the simplicity of the  skirt.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?  I plan on making this again.

Conclusion: Great skirt pattern.
