McCall’s 6742…A Review

Pattern Description: Pullover dress has collar, semi-fitted bodice, lower skirt cut on
crosswise grain, shaped hemline (wrong side shows), sleeve bands,
invisible back zipper and narrow hem. Bias slip has shoulder straps,
neckline and armhole binding and very narrow hem.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? This pattern is very well drafted and the instructions are very easy to follow.


What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I am in love with this style dress.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None.


Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I doubt if I will sew this one again but I highly recommend it.

This pattern calls for a center back zipper. I don't really like that. I didn't realize it until it was time to put the zipper in. IF I were to make this again, I would add a side zip instead of center back.  
Conclusion: Great pattern and totally on trend right now.
