Floral Print Pleated Skirt

Hey guys! It’s no secret that I LOVE skirts and I LOVE floral prints so this floral print pleated skirt was a MUST have for my wardrobe.

This fabric is so special to me. I know I’ve had this fabric for around 5 years. It’s THE most expensive piece of fabric in my collection and I had to save it for the perfect project. My mom and I were in Tennessee together on a fabric shopping “field trip” when we saw this silk floral print and fell in LOVE. Until we saw the price tag lol. We HAD to have it. She still has her fabric, folded on her shelf uncut. Maybe she will be inspired to break it out now lol.

I absolutely love how bright and vivid the flowers are and how LARGE the floral print is. I think that is what caught my eye when I first saw it.

Let me tell you a little secret…it was RAINING when I took these pictures lol. But we had fun anyway and my skirt certainly brightened things up a bit!

Nothing makes a skirt better than pockets. I say it ALL the time. Pockets make EVERYTHING better.

I wanted my skirt to be the focal point of my outfit so I kept EVERYTHING extremely simple. From my favorite basic t-shirt from Target to my pearls and nude heels. The skirt was my statement piece.
