Army Green Polka Dot Dress

Heyyyy youuuuuu guysssssss! I hope you are having a great week. It’s ONLY Tuesday. *insert biggest most dramatic side-eye EVER here* Y’all can tell by my hair how recent these pics are lol OOPS. I LOVE this army green polka dot dress. I wore it to a Christmas Banquet and felt it was kinda perfect.

army green polka dot dressLet me tell you guys how much I love this dress. I think I say that about EVERY item that I make. I FINALLY know what works for my body type and I just work it lol.

army green polka dot dressSince this polka dot fabric is sheer, I lined it with a coordinating solid and kept the solid portion shorter than the actual dress.

army green polka dot dressYep! I love it! I seriously love this color so you will see more of it soon lol.

army green polka dot dressI kept my accessories fairly simple. I went with a statement necklace and my favorite Alex and Ani Bracelets. Y’all know I LOVE these!

For those of you who sew, here is a review:

New Look 6723

Pattern Description:

Pattern Sizing: 8-18

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow?  I have made this pattern so much I don’t even need it anymore.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love this pattern so much.

Fabric Used: Knit

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made the lining shorter than the polka dot knit.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I have made this so many times. It’s a TRUE TNT for me. I highly recommend it.

Conclusion: GREAT pattern.  I clearly love it.

See you guys tomorrow!

This is beautiful! You always do such a good job of combining wearable style with great craftswomanship! (The little red dots of my spell-checker don’t think that craftswomanship is a word, but they lie, as your dressmaking clearly proves! Lol.) Thanks for sharing another great make. Also, on an unrelated note – you posted a while back about some apps that work for your business – Acuity and something else. I love Acuity, too, and I wanted to add one that I rely on constantly, in case you track your mileage: Trip Log. You can find it in your app store of choice. It automatically tracks mileage, lets you capture parking and other receipts, and generates a report for your deductions at tax time. Take care.
