Hump Day Ramblings….

Hump Day Ramblings….

  • I've had my G2 since September and I STILL love it. Now y'all know I normally get a new phone every 6months right? LOL I don't even DESIRE ONE LOL.
  • Don't try and sew anything black at night. That is all.
  • I got Tony a new phone for our anniversary and he loves it. He left the Iphone for the G2. I orginally got him something else but after using it he didn't like it (HTC HD2) so we took it back and got the G2 lol.
  • I did something I haven't done in YEARS…like since the Ipod became popular…I purchased a CD!!!! lol
  • I have had this song on repeat for the past ummm I don't know how long! Have Your way by Joe Pace.
  • Ipray my kids stay kids while they are kids and don't grow up to be ghetto. Seriously.
  • Tony and I made a few good decisions at the beginning of the year and we are SO HAPPY. Listening to God totally pays off lol.
  • I am a week behind on my ramblings lol.
  • I was so sick the day we were supposed to go out for our anniversary, I had to cancel our plans. Hopefully we can pick up this weekend.
  • We have been going to the gym faithfully together and it's wonderful! I look forward to that time.
  • I finished ALL my laundry last night. WOOHOO.
  • Kayla dissapointed me SO bad this morning (Monday) Whew lawd!
  • The girls are loving me making their dresses. I didn't get any sewing done last week but hopefully that will NOT be the case this week.
  • I was so glad Greenbay won the superbowl. That is Tony and Patricks team. He would have been happy. We miss him So much. RIP Patrick.
  • I'm not going to PR weekend in Chicago. I'm doing something MUCH MUCH BETTER. Let me add a countdown widget to my sidebar lol. **EXCITED** I'll tell y'all about it later lol.
  • I hate when folks go through my archives and DON'T say hello or SOMETHING. I'm thinking about making my blog private. Just say hello, shoot me an email or something.–Not yall that lurk on a daily basis lol. I'm talking one or two people reading 199 posts and not saying anything lol.
  • Just realized that this weekend is Valentine weekend, so umm NOPE. I'm going to pass!
  • I'm working on a dress and I promise I believe the guide sheet is wrong. Maybe I'm wrong.
  • They are predicting snow. Again. Where do I live? Yeah, that's what I thought.
  • I saw a pair of shoes in my March Lucky magazine that I'm IN LOVE WITH.
  • I'm so ready for the baby to get here. Well after he finishes developing and stuff lol.—-NOT ME lol, y'all know Zanete and Andre will be having a baby soon lol.

That's all I have. What's going on with y'all?

I forgot all about Valentine’s Day I have been so busy.

  • trenda/ 09.02.2011Reply

Hello, I’m one of the guilty ones who read your blog and never comment. Most of the time, I’m the so busy with so many things to do. I really enjoy your blog:the things you share about your sewing, your family, and your friends. Thanks for sharing with me…

  • Elle C/ 09.02.2011Reply

Don`t go private, because of you I`ve sewn patterns that I never would have tried. I don`t comment on blogs unless I have something interesting to say. Just because we don`t comment doesn`t mean we don`t like your blog. Keep it up. 😎

  • Melinda Schiller/ 09.02.2011Reply

I’m one of the ones who reads your blog regularly and never comments. Don’t got private…..I’ll try to leave comments!

  • Sheena/ 09.02.2011Reply

Nothing much here but a chance of snow and ice today. I hope it only rains. Last time it iced over people were stuck in traffic for 4+ hours.

  • Nerd Girl/ 09.02.2011Reply

I read more than I comment – please don’t go private!
We’re supposed to get more ice today. Boo! I wouldn’t mind a little snow.

  • Carla/ 09.02.2011Reply

    stop being mean!
    what did Kayla do?
she is turning into a surly teenager a little early.
did you make them more dresses?

  • Mocha Dad/ 09.02.2011Reply

I’ve gone through your archives and now I’m saying hello. Please don’t make the blog private.

  • Lina/ 09.02.2011Reply

Im also guilty of reading and not commenting, but I do love your blog and have been reading for years.

  • CarlaF-in Atlanta/ 09.02.2011Reply

What is with the snow in the SOUTH. We don’t do that stuff! I hope you’re feeling better. Stay strong…I don’t have kids but I remember what I was like as a teen. I’ve apologized to my parents multiple times as an adult 🙂 Hmmm…sewing black at night I’ve been there before that’s what seam rippers are for!

  • Dei/ 09.02.2011Reply

Did I miss something? What baby.

  • Lashell/ 09.02.2011Reply

I’m sorry. I’m one of those guilty parties who clicks in and doesn’t say anything. Which is bad, I know, because you comment on my blog all the time. I thank you for that. Please don’t go private. I look forward to the wednesday ramblings. It perks me up.

  • Lisa/ 09.02.2011Reply

I too am guilty of not leaving comments. I read just 15 blogs and yours is one of them. I seriously loved all of your cruise clothes and it has been an inspiration in my sewing for my summer holiday to Australia next week. I always give a pattern a second look after seeing your reviews. Please don’t go private.

  • Bunny/ 09.02.2011Reply

Hey Adrienne!!!! Oh no!!! More snow in Alabama is not a good thing. Hell we hate it here in the Chi too!! Well I hate it, some folks love snow and cold weather. I AM NOT ONE OF THEM!!! Please Heavenly Father let Spring and Summer come quickly. Thanks and Amen!! Love this blog!!!!

  • Kimberly/ 09.02.2011Reply

Hello? I actually haven’t gone through your archive, but I plan to.

  • Rachelle/ 09.02.2011Reply

If you don’t get any or enough snow you can have some of ours!

  • Jenny/ 09.02.2011Reply

Oops! Another guilty one who seldom comments but who really enjoys your blog. :o( So sorry. I always look forward to reading about your adventures [or misadventures] when you are so frank about what is going on in your life sewing-wise and otherwise. Be assured though that I [and I believe there are many others like me] continually lift you and your family up before the Heavenly Father even if we do not always comment. Blessings!!!

  • mzinspiredmind/ 09.02.2011Reply

Ummm u know I want to see a pic of these shoes now right?!? LOL

  • Pserendipity/ 09.02.2011Reply

Dang! You made some people feel real guilty. *raises hand*

  • Syl/ 09.02.2011Reply

You’re having a baby? How exciting! I hope it’s a boy since you already have 2 girls. But if it isn’t, as long as it’s healthy.
I know what you mean about sewing dark colors at night. Glad to hear you have that same problem.(I mean that in a good way) I thought it was just me. I was thinking about buying one of those OTT lights. I think that’s what it’s called. It’s supposed to give a daylight look at night when sewing or reading.

  • Rolana/ 09.02.2011Reply

Hi Adrienne! Love your posts!! Baby???? Did I miss something? Congratulations!!! That’s so exciting! Have you started the book yet?

  • Susan C/ 09.02.2011Reply

oh,no no no. No private blog! I love your blog and I suppose I don’t comment a lot because I don’t want to bother you : ) I’ll re-think that, OK? Happy belated anniversary! Susan

  • Myra/ 09.02.2011Reply

Can’t wait for the “baby” to get here?? Will you be making maternity attire now or did I misunderstand?? 🙂

  • Donna/ 09.02.2011Reply

Hi Adrienne, I am one of those people who lurk on your blog very often. I really enjoy your recipes, sewing, and family time. Please don’t make your blog private. Your blog to me is a breath of fresh air. I see you as a young woman that has overcome an illness and truly appreciates all of your blessings from God. I applaud you for the love and time that you give to your family. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Pissed at the snow and ice here in Nashville.
Left work at 4:45; Arrived home at 8:45. Pissed at the snow and ice here in Nashville.
Live in gated community on a hill; Car would not make it up the hill. Pissed at the snow and ice here in Nashville.
Not going to work tomorrow; Because I’m pissed at the snow and ice here in Nashville.

  • Marla/ 09.02.2011Reply

Oh, between work and home on a good day its a 25-30 min commute, on a bad day 45-1 hour commute. Today…Freakin 4 hours…Pissed at the snow and ice here in Nashville!

  • Tina/ 09.02.2011Reply

love your ramblings! Tina in Va

  • Flora/ 09.02.2011Reply

*I’m glad you got ALL the laundry done, but I’m tempted to go through the archives to see if this is the first time you mentioned laundry without also saying how much you hate it. LOL!
*I don’t think there’s a phone out there that I’d trade my iPhone for
*Congrats on the nephew/niece coming. I love being an aunt!
*I’m not a football ball, but I watch the Superbowl every year. Am I the only one who enjoyed the halftime show?
*If you make your blog private may I please have the password? I don’t comment a lot cause I usually read your blog in my reader and if I can comment there I haven’t figured it out yet.
*Me? I should’ve been sleep 30 minutes ago, so I’m typing this with my thumb and one eye open. 🙂
*Oh yeah, I’m not going to be too pleased if it snows here in Columbia, SC

  • Toni39/ 10.02.2011Reply

I hope that if you make your blog private, you add me to your list. You are so funny.

  • MsK/ 10.02.2011Reply

Haha… I love your blog and have read it for a few years now, but do not even know why I do not comment. Honestly, I read quite a few blogs and do not comment. I am not on facebook or twitter either. I offer a prayer for you sometimes when things are down but say nothing, and enjoy reading about your sewing projects and other pursuits, family time and cooking. So guilty, and outed :-). Is that even a word? K. Its been great reading your blog and you have a wonderful family. May God continue to shower you all with his blessings.
    MsK in Charlotte.

  • Barrie Haywood/ 10.02.2011Reply

Dont make your blog private!! I just love catching up with you and seeing what you all are up to. Your dad is still one of the handsomest older men I have seen in a while (and your mom is cute too).
    Barrie in Fairfax, VA.

  • artbeth/ 10.02.2011Reply

Delurking to say hello. I’m not one of archive readers right now, but I probably was 2-3 years ago when I found your blog. I don’t remember how I discovered your blog; likely for the pattern reviews. Congratulations on your anniversary. It greatly encourages me to see a mom and dad and all their kids sticking together through good times and bad times.

  • Claire S./ 10.02.2011Reply

Ha – looks like you outed a bunch of us ! LOL
I did the archive thing a couple years ago when I was just starting blogging and reading blogs. I’ve commented some but the last couple months have been nuts and I’ve only been lurking.
    Love your hump day ramblings.

  • Tracey/ 10.02.2011Reply

Oh noooooo! I’m so bummed that you won’t be coming to Chicago for PR Weekend. I was really looking forward to meeting you. Well, whatever it is you have planned instead, I’m sure it will be wonderful. Now I will have to set my sights on someone else to stalk in Chicago.
    LOL.

  • MrsTDJ/ 11.02.2011Reply

I love my Blackberry but I keep hearing soooooooooo many people raves about those darn G2. Might need to look into that when 5/1 rolls around.

  • Melanie/ 11.02.2011Reply

How the heck can you tell that someone read 199 post!! LMAO
Maybe they’re going to write a book about you!!! LOL

  • Nikki/ 11.02.2011Reply

I’ve been meaning to ask you what’s going on with your scrapbooking. What’s up with that Adrienne??? I know you’re planning a crop so you may be waiting on that. In the meantime, I’ll wait patiently. *tappin’ my fangas*
And I hope that Kayla has redeemed herself. 🙂

  • Melissa/ 12.02.2011Reply

I also love Have Your Way by Joe Pace. It’s a great praise and worship song. It’s very repeat worthy. If this blog goes private, I want in. lol

  • Kim M./ 12.02.2011Reply

Yes, I lurk on the daily. But 199 posts? Honey, who has time like that?!! Uh..people in jail? :

  • barb/ 13.02.2011Reply

Hi I read your blog often sometimes I comment but you have truly inspired me I am even going to start my own blog this year even if no one but me reads it which will probolbly be the case I ordered the book from the library on how to start blogging so thanks for the blog I do not comment every time I read but if something hits me I will chime in 🙂

  • Angie/ 15.02.2011Reply

    Hi,
I have yours as one of my sewing blogs I frequent and thought I should say hello.
I did not want to be one of those people in your ramblings who do not say hi.
I am a mediocre sewer and have really gotten back into the art as of lately (by lately I mean the last 2-3 years). I have even gotten a few of my sisters at church into it.
I would like to KIT personally.
I will leave my email address if you would like to contact me.

  • sherri/ 16.02.2011Reply

    Don’t go private, pleeeeeease!
They were probably looking at your progress in sewing!

  • Syl/ 16.02.2011Reply

Just stopping by. Saying hello. I know you don’t like it when people go all over your territory and say nothing.

  • christina/ 17.02.2011Reply
