Soul Food Sunday

I can’t believe I haven’t done a Soul Food Sunday since MAY. It’s nearly July.

There have been so many things going on I sometimes get lost in my business. That’s about as transparent as ever.

There is always something going on. Always work to be done and to be honest it gets to be just a tad bit overwhelming. But I know what my goals are. God has given me dreams I never knew I had.

I made a promise to myself that no matter where my business goes I didn’t want to loose the voice of my blog. My voice. The voice that you guys have grown to like and possibly love over the years lol.

So how about I do a brain dump to catch you guys up? Sound good? Good!

• All of the kids are home from school (well DUH it IS almost July lol)
• Jaelyn had a successful year at Tuskegee University. We are truly proud of her.
• Aj & Kayla are both playing sports (football & volleyball) so they have my schedule in complete shambles right now with the summer practice/training.
• Jaelyn is working almost every day and loving it.
• Tony & I are counting down until the kids leave the nest lol. SIXMOYEARS
• Business is going great and God is opening so many doors. It’s amazing to me.
• I now have an assistant and business manager. GOD SENT. I had no idea how much I was doing on my own.
• ONE person can really spoil the entire bunch.
• I learned that all crowds aren’t my kinda crowd lol.
• When I’m distracted I don’t get ANYTHING done. When I’m focused though? I’m ON IT.
• I took all groups off my personal Facebook. I couldn’t hang. Too many notifications on my phone. DISTRACTIONS lol
• Today has been the most chill day. Thankful for it.
• Sunday’s after church (I overslept today something awful) is when I plan the upcoming week and read.
• Sometimes I wonder why God allows certain things to happen. Sometimes He reveals it to me, other times not.
• I’m very observant. I may not say one single word but I see a WHOLE lot.
• I try to go to bed early because I get up early. By 10 my brain is MUSH.  I’ll stay up late on Friday though. Late now is considered midnight lol.
• I totally stepped outside of my comfort zone but I’m realizing that’s where all the good stuff is lol.
