Hehehe!! What is jaelyn studying? I’m assuming history?? A very exciting time dor her. My daughter has just finished her first year at University and is tomorrow returning to Melbourne to bring home her stuff from her student lodging. She doesn’t return until late Feb early March. She’s currently enrolled in bachelor of arts Game design degree – but is not happy with how the couse is turning out ( more programming than the design side where her interests lie). Laura is now applying to do a teaching/art degree, but won’t find out until next year if she has been successful in changing her course and university. She could do the new course locally – but wants to be in melbourne with her friends.

Wishing her the very best. I wrote a lot of papers when I was in college because I majored in English. My overall experience was a love-hate relationship. When I graduated I had grown to love it. I gained life-long friends and I miss the learning environment. It’s been over 25 years since I’ve graduated.
Question for Jaelyn: When I was in school, all we had was one cafeteria and no fast food options (except for a heart-clogging Church’s Chicken) within walking distance. What options do you have?

This was cool.

I was a history major and still a die-hard history geek! If Jaelyn is a history major, I’m sure it will be no time before she is inducted in Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society!
