adrienne nixonI took this #redlightselfie the other day and I love it. I figured why not use it as my Birthday picture!? LOL

Normally on my Birthday I tell you guys a few things that I’ve learned this year.

THIS time I want YOU guys to tell me a few things:

How long have you been reading my blog?

How did you find my blog?

Where are you from?

What is ONE thing that YOU have learned from me?

This is YOUR gift to ME πŸ™‚

Happy Birthday Adrienne!!! Hope you have a great day of celebrating. Well, I started following you a little over a year ago… came across you by way of Mimi Goodwin. I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting you when you came to Atlanta this past February (2014) with Mimi for her Meet & Greet. You were a little shy, but very kind… I bet it’s pretty awkward meeting strangers who seem to know so much about you, lol. Oh, I’m from Madison, Ga… about an hour outside of Atlanta. Adrienne, I’ve learned to “do it afraid” take risks and trust God with the outcome, I admire and respect you for sharing Christ with your readers. Love and Blessings!

Happy Birthday Adrienne , I hope you have a wonderful day!! I am from Chicago and have been reading your blog since 2008 . I found your blog on Pattern Review, and have been reading ever since. I have definitely learned how to be more organized from your tips on the blog.

I’ve been reading your blog since 2007. I found your blog via Pattern Review and have faithfully followed you since. Lol. I am originally from Columbia, SC but currently live in Georgetown, Guyana. I’ve learned so much from you with humbleness being at the top of the list!!!!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Gosh, I’ve been reading your blog for quite a few years, I think soon after I started my own sewing blog… I can’t remember how I found your blog, but I think it was probably through Pattern review… I’m from Portugal and one thing I’ve learned from you is good friendship is for LIFE!
Many hugs to you, my friend!!!!!

I have been reading a few years, well more than a few but I’m not sure how many. I “met” you through blogging. Maybe in commenting on CreoleinDC. I’m from Bogalusa, Louisiana but reside in Charlotte, NC. One thing I remember you helping/teaching me is when I took a sewing class and I had questions, I believe you helped. Also, I decided to meal plan after you mentioned it. I hope you have a wonderful birthday and this next year is your best yet!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you did something really fun just for YOU! I’ve been reading your blog for years and have been doing so every since I found you on PatternReview.com. (and glad I did!) You’re very much an inspiration to keep going no matter what your circumstances are. Although I’m much older, I want to be just like you when I grow up!

Happy Birthday Adrienne!!! I’ve been reading for at least a couple of years now. I think I found your blog through searching for sewing blogs. I’m from Detroit, Michigan. What I’ve learned from you? That creating a sewing business can be very rewarding and it isn’t as scary as it seems lol (I’m a seamstress)

Happy Belated Birthday, Adrienne. I’ve been reading your blog for quite some time now. I’m going to guess for over a year; maybe two. Because it’s been such a long time, I can’t remember exactly how I came across your blog, but I believe a friend who sews directed me to your blog. I’m from Chapel Hill, N.C. and I currently live in Charlotte, N.C. with hopes to soon return to Chapel Hill (I’m so excited because by the grace of God, I believe that’s about to happen). What I’ve learned from you is patience. Reading your blog also serves as a constant reminder that what God has for me is for ME!!! Continued blessings to you and your family.

    Happy Birthday, Adrienne!!!
I don’t know how long I’ve been reading your blog, but it’s been a few years. I saw
where you had commented on another blog and clicked the link. I am originally
from Flint, Michigan, but I have lived in Louisiana and California and now I live in
Vancouver, Washington. One thing I have learned from you is that amazing things happen when
you honor your gifts. I hope you had a beautiful day!!

How long have you been reading my blog? 2-3 years off and on…I guess

How did you find my blog? I think from Monica Mingo

Where are you from? From Fl originally but now live in Luanda, Angola (SW Africa)

What is ONE thing that YOU have learned from me? Hmm…I don’t know but I enjoy your genuineness and you seem very down-to-earth and content with yourself. Oh, I have tried a couple of your recipes so maybe that.

Happy belated birthday. I’ve have been following your blog for several years from a link I discovered on revelry. I enjoy following your day to day adventures. I live in Maryland so I get to visit the garment district in New York quite often, so your posting were very interesting. I’m a amateur photographer, quilter and knitter. What I’ve learned from you is follow your heart.

Happy Birthday Adrienne!!! I have been visiting your blog for about 4 years, maybe longer. I discovered you through Erica B’s blog. I go back and forth between you, and Mimi G to see what you both have created. What a great partnership. I had the pleasure of meeting Mimi and her husband @ her first meet and greet in 2012. I love your Hump Day Rambin’s! What an inspiration you are! I love your transparency and how over the years you’ve shared some of your life’s challenges. I feel like I know you, like a neighbor. I love your transparency and sharing your family with your blogging followers. Have a wonderful and Blessed birthday!

Happy belated birthday! I have been following your blog for years (5+?) I found your blog shortly after I started scrapbooking. I know it’s been a while since you cut up some paper! lol

I live in MD about 20-30 minutes outside DC.

Your blog rekindled my desire to learn to sew. I loved reading about your vacation wardrobe(s). How fun to be your own couturier!
