Private Sewing Lessons & A Fashion Show!

Man it’s amazing how EVERYTHING I’m doing now pretty much started with this blog and now I hardly blog lol. I’ve got to get back on my consistency. Here’s to improvement lol. **CLINKS GLASSES**
How have y’all been? I’ve been good. Pretty busy. Very busy actually. Let me get down to business and I’ll have another post up soon about the personal side of things. Unless you follow me on social media y’all aren’t in the loop lol. Click those little social media icons and follow along lol.

This is a basic course of (4) classes designed to help you:
- Get you comfortable with a sewing machine.
- Teach you pattern layout .
- Cutting, and basic construction skills.
- At the end of this class you will be able to sew your own basic garment!
Week 1- Introduction to the sewing machine and the type of garment you will be making. This class will be spent learning the basics of the machine and looking over your pattern.
Week 2- Discuss fabric options, learn the proper way to cut your fabric and select your correct size.
Week 3- Cut your pattern and fabric and begin the construction process.
Week 4- Construct your garment.
You do not need to have your own sewing machine for this class.
If you have a sewing machine you may bring it and I will show you how to use yours.
All supplies are included.
At the conclusion of this class you will know how to use your machine, have a completed garment that you can wear and your very own sewing kit.
The first three classes are 1.5 hours long. The last class is 2 hours long.
The total course is $400. A Deposit of $200 is REQUIRED to reserve your space. Remaining balance is due before your class time.
Classes will be held on Saturday’s. Be mindful when you select your class time. That will be the time you have your class on EACH of the 4 sessions. Classes will begin in January. Dates are currently available for January and February.

I taught my first sewing class during the latter part of the summer and guess what I figured out? It is SO much fun teaching the younger kids who REALLY want to learn how to sew. The excitement on their faces is every single thing! Olivia was my first student and shes my #glitterpartner LOL. We had SUCH a great time and she picked up on everything SO easy. I was so impressed with the questions that she asked.
And for the Fashion Show…
Let me tell y’all about this. I am so excited to have this opportunity. I will however be glad when it’s over lol. I am TIYAD lol. There have been some hiccups preparing for this but that’s what happens and you have to roll with it. I’m rolling now because I’m ALMOST at the finish line but babbbbbyyyy. I was stressed and freaking out something serious lol.
I titled this show “Unforgettable Gowns” because that’s truly what I was going to focus on. How many of y’all know that when you are creative, you change your mind? OFTEN lol. It’s NOT all gowns at all and that’s ok. I can do that lol. I decided extra last minute to make an entirely different dress for one of my models AFTER her original one was done. What can I say, when the creative juices are flowing GO WITH IT lol.
