Adrienne’s Essentials Grand Opening!
Hey y’all!!
September has been the BUSIEST month EVER lol but that’s a good thing lol. On Sunday I had a grand opening celebration for my office space and let me tell you I had a BLAST.
I sent out a newsletter and posted on all my social media September 1 and asked everyone to save the date, and to RSVP so that I could mail out physical invitations. In the world of Facebook Invites (nothing wrong with that) I wanted to send a PHYSICAL invitation for this because it was so special to me.
I almost didn’t do a celebration. It REALLY took some convincing that I should celebrate how God has blessed me. Someone asked me why didn’t I want to and I had to admit that I was afraid. Afraid of failure. I moved into my office in April of 2015. It took me until July/August to even announce that I HAD space. I’m so glad that perfect love casts out fear! Nothing good comes from fear. Fear is only false evidence appearing real. That’s IT. I know my gift of sewing comes from God and He does ALL things well.
Y’all KNOW I love sparkly lol. Because I had SO much going on I didn’t really get excited about everything until Sunday morning lol.
My grandma couldn’t make it up the stairs so she took a picture with me and my mommy before everything started. I’m glad I have this 🙂
Zanete did a SUPERB job with the decor. I wanted to include this picture of my mom sitting with the VERY first thing I ever made. Pillows. She looked at this and said wait, that’s me!? Yes mom it is lol.
Zanete was working hard making the beautiful floral arrangements.
Each table had one of my favorite quotes, pictures or pattern on it. I think we forgot to take a picture of the one that had the wrap dress on it. Because wrap dresses are my favorite and I absolutely LOVE Dorthy Dandridge. Talk about black hollywood glamour 🙂
Here is a partial view of the entire space.
There was good food lol
AMAZING Cake. LET ME TELL YOU! My cake is from Sweet Treats Unlimited and she is absolutely amazing. Not only was my cake gorgeous but it was THE BOMB. SO good lol. Y’all know how I love cake.
Kayla was my photographer and took a TON of pictures that I will NOT post here but you can see the entire album on my business Facebook page.
Thanks to everyone who came out. Especially my peeps from Atlanta. It meant the world to see them walk in 🙂
