Animal print sweater peplum and pencil skirtsm
The top is Vogue 8815 (yes again) done in a sweater knit and a pencil skirt using the same Simplcity pattern I've used for YEARS when I need a quick simple pencil skirt lol

I had so much fun sewing this! As much as I LOVE to sew and make my own clothes, I've developed another love for sewing my own clothes. I can't EVEN describe it lol.

Kayla has been my photographer and she is doing an excellent job! Hats off to the 13 year old! LOL

I am in LOVE with this print. It won't go away ANY time soon lol. I just purchased a wool jacket in it…I want to MAKE a light weight jacket in it lol andddddddddddd some skinny pants lol. See OBSESSED.

I am also obsessed with BOWS. YES BOWS. It is CRAZY!

I saw this scarf online yesterday:

Bow scarf
Umm HELLOOOOOOOOO. That right there was enough to pick up my needles lol

I knit during Breaking Dawn last night lol MANNNN THAT MOVIE WAS EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't WAIT to see it again!

I will admit I'm SUPER sleepy right now lol. I was 10 levels PAST crunk then came home and watched GA and Scandal lol.  BAD MOVE. Didn't go to bed until late…or early lol

Ok. I've rambled enough lol

Y'all have a FANTASTIC FRIDAY!!!

Toodles!

    Love the color combination!
Did you actually knit in the theatre? Did you get any weird looks?

That looks good – when you first showed the fabric combination, I thought hmmm, but it really does look good together. Someone said “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. I’m gonna have to borrow that look ;)!

What a stinkin’ cute outfit. Love the color combo and that sweater knit is to die for. Just lovely together.

That outfit, the print and color combination compliments each other nicely. That bow scarf is everything to me! I can’t wait to see the finished product!

I love those two colors together. You look great. What is a good pencil skirt pattern? I’m looking for one that’s NOT a knit.
    Thanks.

I too have become a Pinterest person. I said I wasn’t going to do it but I caved. I saw the key necklaces on their and decided then and there I would HAVE TO do something with a box of keys that I’ve been saving for an unknown reason. I even have a few skeleton keys in the bunch. These keys didn’t originally belong to me. I inherited them. So far I’ve made about 5 or 6 of the necklaces.

Love the print and color combo. You’ll definitely be seeing me in a bow scarf this season. What stitch is that?
