Life happens, I am NOT ok oh and I jumped out of a plane!

Hey guys! I’ve been so transparent since I started this blog FOREVER ago and I’m not about to stop being “myself” now.

Listen, I am NOT ok and you know what? THAT IS OK.

I am an optimist to my core. I ALWAYS look for the good in every situation and every person. I don’t think that will ever change but I’m learning to be more careful with my optimism.

Sitting here typing this I am in tears because there aren’t really any words, you know?

I know that the tears will stop. I know that the sadness will pass. I know that I will be ok but right now I’m not. It just is what it is.

So what am I doing? Jumping out of planes LOL. No, seriously. I’m TRULY finding my peace. I’m finding myself. I’m learning Adrienne. That’s really all I can ask for.

A few weeks back I started a book club. I REALLY needed a place where I could gather with like minded women, have great discussions and eat good food. It’s like I just couldn’t drop the feeling that I HAD to have that. So I started the book club. THIS WAS SUCH A GREAT THING. I’m so glad I had that sense of urgency in the beginning. Ok I’m rambling lol.

At any rate, I’m going to take my TIME, take things literally second by second and continue to become the best Adrienne that I’ve ever been.

If you are still reading my ramblings, here is a link to my skydiving video lol.

That’s it guys and remember, it’s OKAY to NOT be OKAY.

Adrienne

I truly love your outlook for things whether good, bad , or in between. You’re a beautiful sister with a big heart and wonderful mind state. I learned that crying is definitely a part of growth because nothing grows without water and GOD can only wipe your tears if you cry. You’re stronger than you know sister.

We all go through seasons of life where we aren’t ok. Just breathe and do the next thing and then the next. Eventually, you come out on the other side realizing that you’re stronger and smarter than when the season began. Take care.

I hope it becomes a trend. Way better than the mothers with the helpers of the 60s, or the Prozac speaks women of the 90s. There’s a time for getting help and making change, and there’s a time for saying, this is WHO I AM. Damn right it’s ok.

      AMEN!
