Spring 2016 Trends

Hey guys! I know the first day of spring isn’t until March 19th but if you love fashion as much as I do then you have known since fall what the Spring 2016 Trends will be.

Now I’ve said this before and i’ll say it again, I love to follow the runway shows and the trends just to see what “they” say is going  to be hot. I love the trends but I’m not married to them.

This post I’m going to focus on my  favorite Spring 2016 Trends.

Spring 2016 Trends

First up is Victorian. I listed this one first because it truly is my favorite. The sleeves, the flowers the ruffles. I am HERE for it! This was also popular for Fall 2015 so it’s really just carrying over.

Spring 2016 Trends

The White Shirt. Elle.Com calls this The White Shirt Redux and I can totally see why. The white button down is CLASSIC and everyone needs a FEW white button downs in their wardrobe. Classic with a twist is my thing. I love these and I can so see these going from the runway to my closet. That is one of the BEST things about being a designer. I can make my OWN version of what is hot on the runway, and offer it to you as well 🙂

Lightweight Denim.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE denim. WAIT until you see how I incorporate this into my wardrobe. What is so funny about trends some of this stuff is classic. I mean, WHY are we saying lightweight denim is a trend? Lightweight denim is a basic closet staple. Period.

Spring 2016 Trends

Overalls. Overalls have really been growing on me. I have a pair and I’ve worn them once or twice. I love this more chic version.

So tell me, what fashion trends are YOU looking forward to wearing this Spring? What is something you DON’T want to see? Let’s talk about it in the comments.
