Sewing with Crystals and Rhinestones

Hey guys! Many of you know Victoria  and she has done an amazing job creating a couple of courses about sewing with crystals and rhinestones. You guys know me. Y’all know I LOVE to bling some stuff out so I purchased her course and watched and picked up some great tips.

The first course Sewing with Crystals and Rhinestones can be found here. Let me share with you a couple of things I learned from this video:

  • When hand sewing using wax makes it a TON easier. I’ve done my fair share of sewing stones on by hand and this was NOT something I even thought to consider. I can’t wait to implement this on an upcoming project.
  • Always create a checklist when planning your project. This may seem like a no-brainer but I can PROMISE you as much as I love a list the last time I worked with stones I did NOT have a list and I did NOT have enough supplies. SMH.
  • A hot glue gun is your BEST FRIEND. This was something I learned the hard way (along with Victoria) but in the video she explains it all.

I really picked up some great tips and I’m sure you will too. If you have ever been interested in sewing with crystals and rhinestones be sure to check this out.
The second course 8 Tips for Gluing Crystals and Rhinestones  is full of gems. Get it? Gems? LOL No seriously. I picked up a couple of things I didn’t know AND ordered some new glue/tools to try so I’m super excited about that. This course is a shorter than the first one but packed full of great information.  I highly suggest you check them both out if you want to learn a little more about sewing with crystals and rhinestones.

Hope you guys have a great day!

Adrienne
