Handkerchief Hem Dress

Handkerchief Dress

Hey guys! Man on man. I have so many things to update you guys on but first we will start with this Handkerchief Dress.

Handkerchief Hem Dress

As usual fabric is ALWAYS my first inspiration, unless it’s not – then it’s SHOES lol, but you all know this by now.

I have had this fabric for a while now. I think I picked it up while I was in Atlanta a year or so ago. Most of you also know that I hardly EVER cut fabric as soon as I purchase it. If I do it’s something super special. Most of my fabric has a 2 year shelf life lol.

Handkerchief Hem Dress

One thing I absolutely LOVE about this dress is that you can wear it with or without a belt. I could have easily put on some flats with this dress and ran errands across town. I call that a multi-function dress lol. I may pull this one out this week and wear it with a denim jacket and some cute flats. Yep. I think I’ll do just that.

Oh and in case you didn’t notice, this dress is totally twirl worthy. I don’t care how old I am I will NEVER be too old to twirl!

Pattern Sizing: 4-26. I made the 14Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow?  I purposely followed these instructions to the “T”. They are perfect. I didn’t have any problems.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I just love this style dress. So cute, flirty and just easy to wear.

Fabric Used: Poly Blend

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I doubt if I will make this one again but it’s a great one to have for sure.

Conclusion: Great dress and a great pattern to work with.
