LISTEN!  Y’all I get SO excited when I get an email from Eryn. I LOVE her style and I love her patterns. This Anitra Jumpsuit is the BEST THING EVER.  What can be better than a jumpsuit with side draping and pockets?

Let me say I have NEVER EVER EVER liked the “poopy pants”. I have never had ONE SINGLE DESIRE TO WEAR ANY let alone use my time and talent to make some. Babbbbbbbyyyyy Eryn made me change my mind.

I love everything about this. I LOVE the slightly off the shoulder top, the draping on the pants and especially the pockets.

Pockets make every single solitary thing better. Ask ANY of my clients lol

This might be the most comfortable jumpsuit that I own. I really just can’t say enough good things about it.

I can already tell you that I’m going to make another one. For this one instead of doing it all one solid color I used this sheer black and white print I’ve had in my stash forever. For these pictures I wore it with a tank under it. I can’t wait to style it a TAD bit different when I wear it out on the town lol.

For those of you who sew you can order The Anitra Jumpsuit here: https://stylesewmepatterns.com/collections/patterns/products/anitra-jumpsuit

Pattern Description:

Anitra is all about style and comfort. This loose-fitting jumpsuit features a wide neckline (but not to wide to expose bra straps) using your favorite light to medium weight knit. She is a pull-up style with an elastic waist and gathered pant and side pockets. The pant design is a fresh combination of wrap and harem-style for ultimate comfort and style.

Pattern Sizing:

XS-XXL I made the large and really could have gone down to a medium. With the way this is cut there isn’t a way to try it on until it’s finished.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow?

Eryn does a great job with the instructions. If you get confused you can always follow along with the video tutorial.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

I LOVE the style of this jumpsuit.

Fabric Used:

ITY

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

I HIGHLY recommend this pattern!! I want to make another one lol.

Conclusion:

This is such a great pattern if you like this style. Grab yours before it sells out!

Hi Adrienne! You did a great job with the jumpsuit. I really love the contrast bodice. I don’t care for the harem-style either, but I like this jumpsuit. I made mine in all black. I agree that it is so comfortable.

Thank you! I almost did all black lol. I can’t wait to see yours!

Adrienne, you look great! I love the contrasting bodice. I think I will try a ITY knit and use the medium size next go around.

Hi Adrienne! Loving the contrasting bodice. I’m a size 6 and also would like to make a contrasting bodice. 1. Did you use a knit for the bodice ? Also, 2) How much material would I then need for bodice and then for the pants? Thanks!

    • admin/ 15.07.2019Reply

Thank you! Yes I used a knit. I’m not sure I think I had about a yard of the top and maybe 2 yards for the bottom. I lost the pattern when I moved.
